Mother Lode Holding Company was established in 1987 by Leo French as the parent company of Placer Title Company. It has grown to include separate title companies in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Texas, Arizona, Washington, and New Mexico.
Companies under the MLHC umbrella also include two operations offering services nationwide: National Closing Solutions and Premier Reverse Closings. Each company in the Mother Lode family strives to uphold French’s vision as a place that takes care of its customers and employees.
This shared mission allows each individual company to thrive and serve the needs of its local community while always having the strong support and resources of a regional and industry leader.
Placer Title Company (PTC) has the distinction of being one of the only independent title insurance and escrow agencies licensed in all 58 California counties. In addition, Placer Title and its affiliates constitute the largest independent title insurance and escrow agencies on the West Coast. The experienced, highly qualified people at PTC provide title searches and examinations, issue title insurance policies, facilitate escrows and provide other real estate related services.
National Closing Solutions (NCS) is a full-service real estate settlement services and vendor management company providing title insurance, escrow services and ancillary products to the first mortgage, refinance and equity mortgage industry.
Montana Title and Escrow (MTE) is committed to bringing exceptional title and escrow services to the state of Montana from their office in Bozeman, MT. MTE offers title and escrow services for both residential and commercial properties in Gallatin County, and maintains a knowledgeable staff to ensure an exceptional experience.
North Idaho Title (NIT) specializes in title and escrow needs for residential, commercial, and builder/developer transactions. With a state-of-the-art title plant, NIT utilizes technology to bring innovative solutions to our clients. We proudly serve Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint, and the surrounding areas.
Wyoming Title and Escrow (WTE) is committed to bringing exceptional title and escrow services to Teton County and Lincoln County. WTE provides title searches and examinations, issues title insurance policies, facilitates commercial and residential escrows, and provides other real estate related services. WTE stands behind their mission to satisfy their customers with every title and escrow transaction and base their efforts on traditions of service and integrity.
Premier Reverse Closings (PRC) offers full service nationwide title and settlement services to the reverse mortgage industry. Throughout the years, the professionals at PRC have closed more than 150,000 transactions, expanded their knowledge and gained nationwide experience by building strong relationships with reverse mortgage investors, lenders and brokers. We firmly believe that our clientele deserve the best treatment in the industry; that is why PRC is where reverse mortgages take center stage.
Mother Lode Holding Company serves the great state of Texas. Under the leadership of President Latra Szal, we are thrilled Texas National Title, an independently owned and operated title and escrow company is dedicated to the Lone Star State.
Mother Lode Holding Company is proud to have Premier Title Agency (PTA) as their retail operations in Arizona, headquartered in Phoenix.
Premier Title Agency is led by title industry veterans, Jerry Calley and Tanner Herrick.
Jerry serves as President/CEO, with Tanner as Executive Vice President of the Arizona operation. Both men came to Mother Lode Holding Company with a wealth of experience in the local Arizona market.
Westcor Land Title Insurance Company is a national title insurance underwriter dedicated to the support and development of Strategic Regional Agents. Westcor does not compete against its agents, but rather promotes stability, growth, education and continued autonomy to independent title agents. Westcor is rated A’ (Prime) Unsurpassed by Demotech, one of the highest ratings available for national underwriters. Mother Lode Holding Company owns a minority stake in Westcor operations.
National Closing Solutions of Alabama, LLC (NCSAL) provides title insurance and escrow services to the refinance, reverse mortgage and equity mortgage industry.
National Closing Solutions of Maryland, Inc. (NCSMD) provides title insurance and escrow services to the refinance, reverse mortgage and equity mortgage industry.
Placer Title Insurance Agency of Utah, Inc. (PTI) provides title insurance and escrow services to the first mortgage, refinance, reverse mortgage and equity mortgage industry.
